Claude Levasseur, 75, of Merville, BC, was diagnosed with cancer 3 weeks ago and sadly passed away surrounded by his family on August 17, 2014.
Claude is survived by his wife Helen, of 37 years, sons Jean-Paul and Tony and daughters Kathleen and Lisa and also his loving grandchildren, Jaden, Nicole and Mila. Claude was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.
Claude loved carpentry and worked as a self-employed carpenter for 30+ years until he was forced to stop due to his illness. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, music and time with his family.

A viewing will be held from 5:00 until 7:00pm at Comox Valley Funeral Home on Friday, August 22. Funeral services for Claude will be at the Church of St. John the Divine in Courtenay on Saturday, August 23 at 11:00am.
