It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Constance Monks on March 19, 2006 at St. Joseph’s General Hospital Extended
Care Unit in Comox at the age of 95. Connie was born in North Hatley, Quebec on October 8, 1910 to Richard and Julia Sprigings. Connie trained as a nurse at the Montreal General Hospital, class of 1932, working as a private nurse before marrying in 1940. Connie was a devoted wife and mother, and a kind and generous friend. She will be sorely missed by her family and by all who knew her.

Predeceased by husband Kenneth Bevan, and by infant daughter Julia Beverley.
