It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel (Dan) Wilson on Saturday May 7th, 2022 at Comox Valley Seniors Village.
Dan is survived by his wife Connie, son Michael (Davida) and his two grandchildren, Laura and Michelle.
Dan was born in Alert Bay, British Columbia, August 7th, 1940 and lived in several BC coastal communities including Cumberland, Vancouver, Sandspit and Comox.
Dan worked for Overwaitea Foods for many years at the Driftwood Mall location until he retired at the age of 59.
Dan was an avid fisherman. He loved fishing local waters, but his favorite fishing locations were in Haida Gwaii. Many trips there and countless 'big' fish were brought home. In addition, Dan was a world traveller. He visited 40+ countries and every continent on the planet, even Antarctica.
