David Bruce Webster, 74, of Courtenay, B.C. passed away on October 12, 2018 in Victoria, B.C.
David was born in Sherringham, England to Stanley and Joan Webster on April 25, 1944. He went to primary school at St. Joseph's Academy for young menfolk, in Blackheath and secondary school at John Fisher in Croydon. He graduated from the hotel and catering institute in London in 1962. He worked as a chef for many years in Great Britain, at sea, and in Canada.
David is preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Joan, and his daughter Suzanne.
David is survived by his children Terry (Sheri), Angie (Lloyd) and Daphne (Dan) Brothers, Frank (Alison), Michael (Jeanette), Bryan (Roz), and half-brother Graham (Lisa) Grandchildren Christopher, Taylor, Kailey, David, Hayden, Louie, and his god daughter Lena Birtwistle.
The family of David wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Royal Jubilee Hospital.
We would also like to thank Bernie, Len and Lynne for all their help over the last couple months.
David's ashes will be spread Spring of 2019 half in Victoria and half in Great Britain, dates and locations are to be determined.
