It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David. He was a very hardworking and caring man. Whether it was logging in Alberta, mining in the Arctic, or building houses - he always gave it his all and did it with a smile.
He had quite the sense of humour and was great at getting those around him to smile. During his retirement years, he loved to travel the world with his wife, Sharon by his side.
David will be dearly missed by the love of his life of 50 years, Sharon. He leaves behind his Mum, Beryl and his children, Wendy (Mike), Brian (Chantell), and Heather (Ryan), and his sister Maxine and brother Kevin. His 6 grandchildren Brittany, Sara, Amber, Alexander, Kaylee, and Connor are going to miss his sense of humour and loving protectiveness.
We would like to extend our Thanks to the staff at the Comox Valley Hospital for making David's last days on earth as comfortable as possible, especially to Dr. Gracie for bringing a smile to his face in his last hours.
