Don was born in Victoria, BC on December 8, 1930 to Robert and Eva Tyre and passed away in Comox, BC at St. Joseph’s General Hospital on April 23, 2015.
Don was predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. He will be lovingly remembered by Iris, his devoted wife of 66 years, children Linda (Gary), Don Jr. (Suzanne), Jeannie (Terry), 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the Heart And Stroke Foundation.
