Passed away suddenly and will be deeply missed by all his loving family and friends.
Predeceased by his father Joe, he is survived by his mother Olive; wife Karen; sons: Donner, David and Damian; brothers: Jerry (Yolande), Mike (Sharon), Rick (Karen) and Tim; sisters: Colleen (Les) and Bernadine (Larrie); as well as nieces and nephews: Danielle, Garrett, Roch, Virginia, Jeremy, Byron, Autumn, Shyla, Mat, Josilyn, Kainen, Tobias, Caprice and Brook. Donovan was a skilled and active outdoorsman and loved to share his adventures with others. A Celebration of his Life will take place at COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 1101 Ryan Road on Friday, October 14th at 7:00 pm, followed by a Memorial Mass from CHRIST THE KING ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1599 Tunner Drive on Saturday, October 15th at 11:00 am, with Father Paul Murphy, celebrant. For those wishing, donations in Donovan’s memory made to the British Columbia Wildlife Federation, Unit 101, 3060 Norland Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5B 3A6 would be appreciated.
