During the last three years of Isabelle’s life, as she fiercely fought the increasing lack of her independence, her daily life was greatly enhanced by the loving, caring friendship of her devoted private caregiver, Carol Telford. The family is extremely indebted to Carol for her love, understanding and companionship and especially the advocacy she displayed on Mom’s behalf.

The wonderful staff of Ocean View Extended Care, took a personal interest in Mom’s comfort during the last weeks so that she remained comfortable and free of pain. We thank the staff and the army of volunteers who generously donated their time to brighten the lives of the residents.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday 21 February at 2:30 p.m. in St. George’s United Church with Rev. Ray Brandon officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service. Friends and family are invited to share in this thanksgiving Celebration for the life of Isabelle Stubbs. Flowers gratefully declined.
