It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward (Ted) James Wadland at the age of 93.
Predeceased by his wife Jean, parents Lewis & Beulah, brother George and sister Loreene.
He is survived by his children Stephen (Sidney), Sandra (Grant) and Shelley (Tom). Grandchildren Sonia (Kevin), Sheila-Marie and Stevie-Lee (Michael). Great grandchildren Danica, Karisma, Chanelle, Summer and Savannah.
Dad in his earlier days managed the CO-OP store on Hornby Island; developed and ran the Tribune Bay Campsite with his wife Jean and was a faller for MacMillan Bloedel/ Weyerhauser until his retirement.
Our father enjoyed fishing off Hornby Island, hunting and gardening. Later in life his interests were camping and travelling. He liked to get together with friends and reminisce about old times.
Special thanks to his home care aide and the care aides at the Senior Village.
Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
