In Loving Memory ~

Ed left us unexpectedly after a medical complication. He fought a courageous battle but the Lord decided to take Ed home.

He was known by all for his gentle demeanor, kindness and eyes that really expressed everything for him, but his smiled just rocked it. Though he is departed, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all those he touched.

Ed was born in Edmonton, to John and Veronika Tomaszewski. He attended the University of Alberta and graduated with a civil engineering degree. He worked for Island Truss, engineering homes and businesses in Comox Valley for more than 30 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate of 22 years, Cynthia LeBrun, his sisters Lil (Ken) MacGregor, Theresa (Mark) Brooks, Jean (Dale) Barager, his brothers Adam (Cathy), and Ron (Arlene), his children, Cynthia (Brian) Anderson, Melissa Horler-Tomaszewski, Nick Tomaszewski, Jessica (Will) Akehurst, his grandchildren Cecilia and Gilford Anderson, Tyrell and Trinity Horler, Sophia and Olivia, Ozias and Matias Akehurst.

Also in grief: Phyllis (Wayne) Bowman, Nance-Ann, Diane (Ken) Preston, Philip (Brenda) LeBrun, Jim (Suzanne) LeBrun and Kath Pettman, Bill (Christine) Rogers.

He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.

His funeral mass with be at Christ the King Catholic Church on Thursday, April 11 at 11 am. The mass will be livestreamed on Youtube. Search ctkcomox.
