Eileen was born March 17, 1925 in Swift Current, Saskachewan to Carvel and Lillian Fetter.

Eileen and her family moved to Calgary, Alberta and lived there during the Great Depression. Eileen would tap dance and perform on stage. She won many competitions and with her earnings, her parents moved her and her younger sister Donna to the Columbia Valley where they bought a farmstead.

It was in her time near Parsons, BC that she met the love of her life Casswell Jewell. They married in August 1, 1947. They lived in Field, BC and Golden, BC and began having a family. Allan, Ivan, David and Carolyn came into their lives. Then they moved to Campbell River in 1959 and Eileen gave birth to her last child, Shelley.

Eileen worked for a time at Laver's Department Store in Campbell River and then at the Big Rock Store. She loved to bake and was well known for her amazing cinnamon buns. She enjoyed the outdoors and working in her vegetable garden. Eileen and Cass loved to travel and went a number of times down South to Arizona and to Hawaii.

Eileen loved all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Eileen and Cass enjoyed spending countless hours drinking coffee and visiting with family members. Eileen will be dearly missed by those close to her. We will miss your smiling face Mom and we love you with all our hearts.
