Born in Glace Bay, C.B.N.S., she was the daughter of the late Peter Morrison and Elizabeth McMillan and was the last surviving member of her family of four brothers and two sisters. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Andrew Donovan in 1975, two sons, Terry in 1948, Gerald in 1974 and one grandson Joey in 1999. Survived by two sons, Cecil (Donna) Victoria, Albert (Suzanne) Courtenay. Three grandsons: Michael (Nicole) Victoria, Robert in Alberta and Terry (Elizabeth) in Ontario. Four granddaughters: Sherry (Darrell) in Victoria, Amanda (Daryl) in Chilliwack, Kathy (John) in Vancouver, Kim (Derek) in Vancouver. Four great-grandsons: Christopher in Sydney, CBNS, Jorden in Victoria, Brandon in Chilliwack and Ben in Vancouver. Four great-granddaughters: Lauren, Kaitlin, Megan in Victoria and Abby in Ontario.
Funeral Services to be held at Piercy’s - Mt. Washington Funeral Chapel, 440 England Avenue on February 23rd, at 2:00 pm. Burial in Courtenay Civic Cemetery. A Mass to be offered in Christ the King Church at a later date. A very special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Cumberland Lodge on the 300 wing. No flowers please, however, if friends wish, donations to Lib’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society of BC would be appreciated.
