Emma A. Woolsey passed away on November 9, 2022 in Courtenay, B.C. Emma was born in Czechoslovakia on December 13, 1924.
Her mother brought her to Canada at the approximate age of two-and 0ne-half years old.
She is survived by her two sons, Wayne (Elaine) Moses and Bruce (Rhonda) Long and her grand children, Brady, Jordan, Meghan and Caity and six great grand children.
On behalf of Emma, her family would like to express sincere appreciation for the loving and caring staff on the Eagle's Nest unit of the The Views long term care at St Joseph's, all done in a very dignified manner.
Additionally, Larry and Carroll Church, neighbors, have continually provided all forms of support and friendship over many years, for which she and her family were truly grateful.
Internment of Emma's ashes will take place in Guy, Alberta at a later date.
