March 13, 1939 - June 25, 2018
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Evonne, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was predeceased by her parents George and Eva Wood.
Evonne will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Don; daughter Karen (Dan); son Bob; granddaughters Jacquelyn (Tyler) and Brittany (Jack); great granddaughters Lexus, Claire, Lillian and Pippa; and brother Hal.
She was born in St. Joseph's Hospital in Comox and lived her whole life in the Comox Valley working as a school secretary in various local elementary schools. Evonne loved traveling, snow-birding in El Centro and was an avid golfer at Sunnydale.
