The family of George James are sad to announce his passing on September 14, 2022. George was predeceased by his wife Irene and is survived by his daughters Bonnie (Bruce), Theresa, and son Allen, grandchildren Jennifer, Jeff, Tia, Troy, and five great grandchildren.
George was born Jan 24, 1928 and he was raised in Union Bay and spent his entire life there. George worked in the logging industry until his retirement. George spent endless hours in his workshop, rebuilding power saws and small engines.
Heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and staff at the Comox Valley Hospital for the compassionate care given to George. A special thank you is extended to Jim, Robin, Penny and Leo, the best neighbours.
