Gerald Potter
October 27, 1923 - August 4, 2012
On Aug. 4, 2012 Gerald passed away peacefully at Glacier View Lodge in Courtenay, BC with his family by his side. Predeceased by his wife Margaret, brothers Bert & William, son Harvey & Grandson Buddy. Survived by his son Stanley (Pierrette), sister Lorraine, grandchildren Genevieve (Steve) & Trina, great grandchildren Megan, Madeline, Conner & Malik, and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Oliver, BC, Gerald went on to join the Army along with his 2 brothers, serving in multiple tours of duty overseas. After returning home safely with his two brothers, Gerald settled in Northern BC where he started his family.
After working for many years as a plumber, Gerald & Margaret settled in the Comox Valley where he enjoyed his time fishing, gardening, wood turning, and spending time with friends at the Cumberland Legion Branch # 28, where he will remain a lifetime member.
