Gertrude Julia Watkins
Born November 28, 1932, Trudy passed away peacefully August 9, 2003, at home in Comox. Trudy is survived by her loving husband Jack; her children Grant, Kathy, Debby and Dean; brothers Bob and Don and sister Hilda; her grandchildren, whom she loved so dearly, Danielle, Colby, Kai, Halei, Mia, Reid, Connor and Kaelin; and her many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and close friends. Trudy will be remembered for many things, among them her generosity, her love of family, her devotion to good friends, her garden, and her quilts. She will be missed dearly by many whose lives she touched.
Special thanks from the family go to Brent, Butch, Ginny, Bob and Carol for their love and support during this very difficult time. Services are being arranged to celebrate her life, to be held at Comox United Church, 2:00 PM, Saturday August 16th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
