March 16, 1979 - January 4, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Harmony. She was born in Victoria, BC and lived the past 20 years in the Comox Valley.

Harmony is remembered for her loving, caring and giving spirit. She loved her work at the Eureka Clubhouse where she was also a part of the Blacktop Players presenting various aspects of mental illness to students using puppets.

She was very open about her mental illness and wanted to educate others, especially young people, about it. She suffered with schizophrenia for nearly 20 years and she battled it with courage and bravery.

She is greatly missed by her mom, Jeannette Freer, sister Felicia and nephew Johnny, many Freer and Kroeker aunts and uncles, her birth mother and her family as well as friends and extended family.

You touched many people's hearts Harmony and inspired many others.

A celebration of life will be held in Vernon, BC at the Vernon Alliance Church on March 16 (her 40th birthday) at 1:30 pm.
