Harold is survived by his daughter Lori Anne Parkin, his grandson Dylan William Parkin, as well as his sister Penny Patterson.
Harold was born in Dove Creek in 1932. His parents, Bill and Winnie Parkin had 6 children. Harold married, and joined the family business, W.E. Parkin Logging. He was a faller for over 50 years. He was a lifetime member of the Cumberland Fire Department, having received a 20-year pin. Harold was also a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Harold enjoyed camping and fishing with his "crew". He lived in Cumberland for over 50 years, having spent the last 15 years at Union Square. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom were very kind visiting him in his last years.

Harold was the best Dad, Papa and brother in the world. €We will miss you always, love Lori, Dylan and Penny.
