Harry Diede passed away at the Courtenay Hospital on January 3, 2018.
Harry was predeceased by his wife Mary Ellen and is survived by his sons Phillip (Uthai) of Courtenay, and Karl (Donna) of Napperville, Illinois, his daughter Dorothy (Rod) of Auburn, Washington, as well as 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Harry was a WWII vet and retired from BC Hydro as a lineman, and worked in Fort Nelson, Stuart and the Port Hardy areas. In Harry's earlier years, he loved the outdoors with both hunting and fishing. In his later years he developed a love of gardening, especially growing Dahlias.
