Died peacefully on Sunday October 3rd at Cumberland Lodge, aged 85. Born in Stratford Ontario, Henry was one of six children and he grew up on the farm. In 1944 he was awarded his Wings, but demobbed in 1944 after he completed his Commando training. After the war he returned to the RCAF and served in Europe and in Canada.
Henry and his wife Joan moved to the island and Cumberland in 1997. The twilight years were mostly good ones. He enjoyed good company, reading, dancing, bridge, fishing and family.
