It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Bob (Herman) Bakker on October 1st after a courageous battle with cancer, in the arms of his family.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Johanna and children Ria, Marianne (Dan), Robert, Yvonne (Gord), Nancy (Jason), ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
If I knew it would be the last time that I would see you fall asleep. I would tuck you in more tightly, and pray the lord your soul to keep. If I knew it would be the last time I would see you walk out the door, I would give you a hug and kiss and then call you back for many more.
In lieu of flowers we ask that a donation be made to Glacier View Day Care program
