In loving memory ~
Ian McIntrye, beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather, passed away on September 5, 2023. Ian had a radiant presence to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing him. Ian worked hard to provide the best life for his family. He thoroughly enjoyed making people happy with his lively personality, nurturing spirit and wisdom that echoed in everything he did and everyone who had the pleasure of crossing his path in life. He was always smiling and always helping someone in need. In his younger years, Ian had a vibrant energy, loved to travel the world, and always had a story to tell about his travels. He lived life to the fullest wherever life took him. Even in his final years when Dementia took part of him, he faced the illness with courage and strength, smiling every day and happy to be alive. Ian's departure leaves a large void in our lives that can never be filled. The memory of Ian and the love for his family, friends, and life that he had will remain etched in our hearts and minds.
The family would like to express many thanks to all the staff at Ocean View for providing Ian with great care during his time there.
