Jamie passed away at home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He fought so hard to win the battle but in the end he couldn’t win the war. He was predeceased by his parents Marshall and Muriel Freek. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife Dawn; children: Corey (Juno) and Sarah (Blake); brother Ted (Lena); sister Dona (Brian); nieces and nephews and many many friends.
A celebration of life for Jamie will be held on Friday, October 12th, 2012 at 2:00pm at the Best Western Plus, The Westerly Hotel, Courtenay, BC. Please bring any pictures and share a favorite story or memory.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Red Cross.
