It is with sadness that the family of Joanne Tarnowski announces her passing on Friday March 2, 2018 at the age of 78.
Joanne will lovingly be remembered by her husband of 60 years, Joe; children Janet (Bruce) Morrison, and Joey (Trena) Tarnowski; many grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Joanne was a pillar of Union Bay and was fortunate enough to be born, raised, married and raise her own family in Union Bay. Her outgoing personality and tenacity is what made her fight so hard. Joanne was the most courageous woman during her battle with cancer, never complained and never wavered, she just did. Joanne was a true fighter.
She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Union Bay Community Hall.
