John B. Shaughnessy passed away on December 21, 2007 at the age of 86. Survived by his loving wife Margrith M. Shaughnessy and two daughters: Estelle Shaughnessy of Courtenay, and Patricia (Thomas) Mott; and two grandchildren: Edwards S. Mott and Fiona M. Mott of Miles City, Mt., U.S.A.
Celebration of Life will be held on February 16, 2008 at Piercy’s Funeral Home.

I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day
And when it comes to my last cast
I then most humbly pray
When in the Lord’s great landing net
And peacefully asleep
That in His mercy, I be judged
Big enough to keep.
