Josie, a resident of Courtenay, passed away on April 26, 2020. She was predeceased by her parents Joe and Violet Boulter, and her twin brother Johnny Boulter, and is survived by her loving husband William Kenneth Phillips, son Troy Phillips, daughter Darlene Phillips, grandchildren Cole Phillips, Cameron Phillips, and Jade Picano, and brother Phillip Boulter.
Josie took great pleasure in her gardening, thrift shopping and attending her church. She was a kind, giving person that would help many in need. She was a faithful friend that you could always count on. Josie was born in Cain's Mountain, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, and spent her youth here.
