JB passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on May 20, 2005 at the age of 78.
Predeceased by her husband Michael in 1975, JB will be profoundly missed by her son Dene, daughter-in-law Joka, grandchildren Dylan and Michelle, aunts Hazel Innis and Betty Stewart of Victoria, plus many cousins, nieces and nephews around the globe.
JB loved to “putter” in her garden, go for a drive to feed the birds, and most of all visit and dote on her two grandchildren. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be well remembered for her strength and kindness, quick wit and good sense of humour.
Thank you to Dr. Tien, Dr. Fitzpatrick and to all the nurses of St. Joseph’s Hospital for their caring ways.
Also thank you to the wonderful staff of We Care for providing such great home support, and to Joan and Brad from Air Gas for their personable care.
And thank you to all of our family and friends for all the comforting phone calls, cards and offers of help.
