Judy Anne Snaith, age 74, of Courtenay, British Columbia passed away in her own home surrounded by family and close friends, on Friday October 18, 2019.
Judy was born September 3, 1945 in North Vancouver.
Predeceased by her parents Harry and Lucy McQuillan and her nephew Stewart McQuillan. She is survived by her sister Linda Ross, brothers Mike (Audrey) and John (Jill) McQuillan, dear friend Josee Migneault, and 8 nieces and nephews, 16 great nieces and nephews, 3 great great nephews, and many close friends.
For many years Judy enjoyed raising and training German Shepherds achieving many prizes for her efforts. With her adventurous spirit she took up motor bike riding at the age of 60 and took part in the Conga Line Rides for breast cancer. Judy was one of those special people who hugged her loved ones leaving them knowing that she really cared for them. Ever the social butterfly she thoroughly enjoyed the last 12 years of her life at Valley Vista where she met many friends through activities and events.
A Celebration of Life was held in the Valley Vista Community Hall on October 25th. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
