On May 29. our Judy chose to end her 3 decade long struggle with manic depression. It was heartbreaking to witness how her illness destroyed all her attempts to build meaningful relationships, satisfying work experience and lasting happiness. We pray she has finally found peace.
Judy was a generous person at heart, always concerned about the wellness of people and animals around her. Besides part time work as a Care Aid, Judy volunteered for the Food Bank, the Free Store and supported the fundraising efforts of the SPCA, her favorite charity.
As Judy's parents, heartbroken and all, we consider ourselves fortunate to have moved to the "Valley" with Judy 15 years ago. She experienced some of her better years here and we thank everyone, that showed Judy understanding and kindness, from the bottom of our hearts. We are forever grateful to the nurses that compassionately cared for Judy during the long hospital stays.
If you are inclined to make a donation to the SPCA in Judy's name, we thank you.
Laara and Marten Gabriel
