“A life well-made”
It is with profound sadness that we must say goodbye to our amazing Mother. Anyone who crossed Mom’s path would know she was passionately devoted to family, friends, and her community. Mom lived a life of service which included everything from leading Brownies and Girl Guides when we were children, collecting for Red Cross and Salvation Army with us in tow in Victoria, to devoting 19 years in Courtenay to the July First Committee. Her purpose and pleasure was to make people happy. Our life with our Mom was filled with games, baking, gardens, hobbies, cars, special events, family, friends, and amazing global adventures. Mom now joins our father who passed just under two years ago. If you were in our Mother’s life, please know she cared deeply about you.
A celebration of Mom’s life will be planned for the end of this month. Please continue to keep Karen and David in your thoughts and prayers.
