A great person influences the world around them just by living their life. The world has lost a great man when he passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on December 31st, 2013. He wasn’t famous but to those that loved him he was the world. He was a husband, a son, a father, an uncle, a grandfather and a friend.
Les is predeceased by his parents, Jean and Bill and step mom Rose. He is survived by his loving wife Colleen, children Virginia, Jeremy (Necole), and Byron (Corynne), grandchildren, Elizabeth, Darwen, Shyanne, Brenton, Phoenix and Dawnovan, his brother Gary (Manvela), his 9 nieces and 10 nephews plus several great nieces and nephews.
As a heavy duty mechanic, he spent his last 20 years at Beaver Meadow Farm. The job also translated to a love for collecting and restoring antique machinery and classic cars.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A Celebration of Life to be announced for Spring or Early Summer.
