Their postings took them across Canada and to 3 (F)Wing, Germany. The couple retired in 1969 to Comox where Lilian began her volunteer work for St. Joseph’s Auxiliary, The Legion, Evergreen Seniors, Glacierview Lodge and D’Esterre House.

Surviving family members are her children Ross (Karen), Linda (Ed), Pam (Terry) and Celia, grandchildren Robert (Kate), Josephine (Deme), Scott, Stuart, Jarritt (Kristin), Jason (Jenn), and Jamie, great grandchildren Brianna (Mike), Recie (Shane), Emily, Darian, Kylie, Pescha, Marlo and Calia, great grandsons Damien and Acen, sister-in-law Ina, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the high standard of care and the support and love given to Lilian by the staff and volunteers of Glacierview Lodge. A special thanks to Dr. Neufeld.
