(Lillian) (Lily) Marie Nélida
Lillian (Bourque) Brown, born on Ocotber 6, 1916 in Shemogue, NB passed away peacefully in Comox, BC on May 10, 2007. Predeceased by husband Harvey (Brownie), brothers Leondre and Edgar Bourque, and stepsister Denise. Lillian will be sadly missed and joyfully remembered by everyone as a strong, independent soul who built lasting friendships in the many places lived across Canada before settling in the Comox Valley upon retirement from the armed forces. Lovingly remembered by sons Harvey, Terrence (Renée), daughter Nelida (David) Gerrand, granddaughters: Dana (William) Lee, Janine (Evan) Donovan, and great-grandhildren: Ahren, Kaden and Keira; also stepbrothers Yvon, Normand, and Leonce, stepsister Bernadette of NB.
Our thanks to Dr. Aldis, Dr. Wiens and Dr. Winter and caregivers making it possible for Mom to stay in her home.
Memorial Mass at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Courtenay at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 15th.
