FALK, Lisa Krystyna (nee Brzezinski)
September 1st, 1975 - April 21st, 2011
Lisa passed away peacefully after a sudden illness at Vancouver General Hospital. She was predeceased by her father Kazimerz Jozef (Mike) Brzezinski. Lisa is survived and will be lovingly missed by her husband Jed Falk, her mother Elizabeth Brzezinski, her brother Kris Brzezinski, her step children Erin Falk, Emma Falk and Jay Falk, other relatives in Poland and her friends as well as Billie, Ralphie and Sophie - her three little Yorkshire terriers and her 4 cats.
Lisa worked for the Ministry of Children and Families in Port Hardy, Campbell River and Courtenay where she affected many lives for the better and made lasting friendships. Helping people, especially children, was something that meant a lot to Lisa.
In her leisure time she enjoyed reading novels, helping friends and playing with her little dogs. Lisa enjoyed sitting on the patio at Crown Isle enjoying a Bellini or two. She believed in strong, lasting friendships and could always be counted on to help a friend - her friendships came first. Lisa’s quick wit and great sense of humor made her co-workers and friends seek her out. She was a very intelligent person who was able to skip grades as a child and often spent time deep in her thoughts. Lisa had lived in many places in the world and had made friends worldwide with whom she would stay in touch.
A Celebration of Lisa’s Life will take place on Saturday, May 7th, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. from the ballroom of Crown Isle Golf Club, 399 Clubhouse Drive, Courtenay, B.C.
