Malcolm Smith
It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of our father Malcolm Smith at Glacier View Lodge on January 14th.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 58 years, Christina, sons George (Helen), Ken, daughters Linda, Caroline (Paul) 10 grandchildren
and 2 great grandchildren, brothers Alex (Morag), Willie (Georgie) and sister Hazel (Mike).
Malcolm was a friend to everyone and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him as a generous, fun-loving and hardworking family man.
He was an active member of the Cumberland Legion and the Comox Valley Lions Club and took great pleasure with all the activities they did and the community ventures.
Our family would like to give our heartfelt thanks to the fantastic staff at Glacier View Lodge for the wonderful care you gave to our father during his time with you.
Celebration of Malcolm’s life will be on January 21, 2015 2:00pm at the Comox Valley Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre.
