Mike Gark passed away on September 2, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox, B.C. He was predeceased by his loving wife Rose, 3 brothers, his sister Mary Yule, and nephew Ray Gark. Mike is survived by his son Carl (Willi) Gark, his daughters Beverley Hofmann and Lynn (Wayne) Klassen, his grandchildren Byron, Teresa, Dana and David, great grandchildren Payton and Alexander, nephew Dave (Edie) Gark, and his companion and caregiver Joyce Dykeman. Mike was a member of the Evergreen Seniors. He spent 50 years working in the woods as a logger / fisherman who was self employed to 1959 and then went to Mac & Blo. Private arrangements entrusted to Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre. Donations in Mikes memory made to either Glacier View Lodge or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
