In Loving Memory ~
On June 15th at 10:36 PM our beloved eclectic sister, Aunt, and friend headed out on her final adventure... Oh, how we are going to miss this beautiful soul.
Michele was a warrior born fearless which helped her to accomplish the many lives she lived.
I think it was unanimous when we coined her the world's greatest Aunt, all her 28 nieces and nephews would agree.
The children were Michele's world. Hence her tattoo SUPER AUNT. Michele was the crazy friend, an amazing sense of humor, the willing participant to entertain the masses at the drop of a hat.
Yet Michele had some amazing friends herself who showed the family during this tragic time how very loved and missed she is going to be .... We want to thank you all for loving our sister so dearly.
Michele travelled extensively throughout Europe, Nepal (Everest), Costa Rica, Russia and was a frequent flyer to Mexico.
Michele was also well educated in alternative healing, she studied eastern medicine in India, macrobiotics in California and numerous other certificates and accolades are on her home walls. Michelle also had an incredible work ethic and volunteered all over the Comox Valley.
She skied every day on her ski pass year after year, hiked those same mountains in the Spring & Summer and loved to swim in the rivers, lakes & ocean on the Island.
Within the community Michele had a goal every day and that was to help one person through this life ... you could say she was a selfless humanitarian.
We are sure the family was there to meet her... Mom, Dad, Sherri & Darcy plus numerous other friends and relatives that have gone on ahead.
We would like to give a special thank you to the gentle supportive care she received in her short five hours in hospice. To all Michele's friends & family that came to say goodbye and her beautiful friend Valerie who helped us keep it together.
