It is with deep sadness that the family of Morag Cochrane announces her passing on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the age of 84 years. Morag will be lovingly remembered by her children Eliza Cochrane (Rob Passingham) and Kate Cochrane-Brink (Paul Brink); surrogate daughter Shannon Mathes; grandchildren Callum, Aidan, Helena and Felix; as well as dear family and friends across Canada and South Africa. Morag was an avid reader, lover of music and derived a great deal of pleasure from the outdoors and gardening. She was a member of the Comox Valley Naturalists Society. In her earlier days, she was an avid cross country skier and hiker. Morag also loved to travel. She was a true friend and delighted others with her storytelling.
