HOLMES, Muriel Catherine
passed away peacefully on July 29, 2012 at the age of 98 in Victoria, BC. Muriel was born on June 21, 1914 in Courtenay, BC.
Muriel was the daughter of James and Alice Holmes (nee Skinner) and granddaughter of James Burnard Holmes an early pioneer of Comox, BC.
She was a long time employee of Gulf Canada and the British American Oil Company Limited. Muriel spent her retirement years living in James Bay. She was a long standing member of the Anglican Church of Canada.
