Clouston, Patricia passed away on January 20, 2020 at the North Island Hospital in Courtenay. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on February 14, 1927.
We are sad to announce our mother Patricia passed away peacefully on January 20 after leading a full and adventurous life.
She was born in Winnipeg but being in a military family, moved several times while growing up, leaving home at 18 to join the army.
At 20 she left military service but continued on as a civilian working for the military, moving several times throughout Canada.
At 27 she made the move to Denmark, then on to Two Wing Air base in Bistroff, France where she worked as a civilian for the military, there she met and married Harry, and started their family.
They moved back to Canada when Harry was posted to Kamloops, BC. When Harry decided to leave the military they moved the family to Port Coquitlam, BC where they lived and worked until retirement, then moved to Vancouver Island.
Upon Harry's passing, Patricia spent her final years happily living at Berwick, Comox Valley.
She was predeceased by her husband Harry; sister Margaret (Bill); and brother Bill (Ann).
She is survived by her son Andrew (Karen); daughter Kathryn; sisters Shirley (Pete); and Gina (Joey) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no service by Patricia's request. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
