Patrick Duffy Simpson

December 17, 1958 - June 4, 2021
In Memoriam ~ Sadly announcing the recent passing of Duffy Simpson of Campbell River, formerly of Courtenay B.C. He died 4 June 2021, at the age of 62 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Hamilton Ontario, 17 December, 1958, where he attended school.
He later joined the Canadian Army Apprentice program completing his education. Duffy proudly served his Country in the RCEME Corps in Germany and Canada until his retirement in 1998.
He also recently retired from a successful second career with Thyssenkrupp Elevator Company. His recreational passion was definitely curling and he will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by fellow curlers at the CVCC and everyone who were so fortunate to have met him.
He is survived by his Mother Sharon May Cousens and step-Father Douglas Cousens. Brothers Mike (Christina), Geoff (Carm) and sister Kim.
And his Loving Wife Gillian.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the CVCC Saturday 25 August at 2 pm.
