Peter died peacefully Wednesday, January 21, 2004, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox. He will be lovingly remembered by Mary, his wife of 48 years, daughters: Kathleen, Beth (Murray), and Patricia (Bryan), and grandsons: Jeremy, Ryan, and Nathan of Kamloops, Matthew and Adam of Auckland, N.Z.
Peter was born and educated near Southgate, London, England. He served in the Royal Navy for 5 years during WWll then emigrated to Canada in 1951. Peter & Mary retired to the Comox Valley in January 1983. Peter enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family, and sharing his deep faith in worship at his church. A Celebration of Peter’s life will be held at St. John The Divine Anglican Church, 579-5th Street, Courtenay on Wednesday, January 28th at 2 pm with Rt. Rev. John T. Frame officiating. Cremation to follow.
