Bob passed away on February 23rd, 2020 at Comox Valley Hospital.
He was born in Glasgow, Scotland on September 11, 1939 and was proudly raised in Scotland and joined the RAF when he was 18 years old. He did this for 8 years. He was stationed in Cypress for 3 and a . years as a respected member of the Mountain Rescue Division. While in the RAF he trained as a Microwave Engineer. He immigrated to Canada where he worked at Lenkirk in Burnaby, BC and from there he worked on the DEW Line Site. Once the DEW Line was closed he worked in Saudi Arabia for 5 years until his retirement. He loved the Comox Valley and him and his wife Cheryl made many friends here.
Predeceased by his father Robert, mother Mary, and brother John.
Survived by loving wife Cheryl, son Robert, daughter Kirsty, grandchildren Wynter, Kyjauna, and Sarah, Braydon Gumbar, and great grandson Harris.
