In Loving Memory ~

With immense sadness, we announce our Mother's unexpected passing from sudden heart-related issues.

Born & raised in Vancouver, Mom moved to Comox Valley in 1979.

Predeceased by her parents Arthur & Agnes Abbott, husband Henry Dyck & stepson Alvin Dyck.

Robyn became an LPN in 1973 & dedicated her life to nursing & healthcare. She either cared for you or taught you how to care for others over her 47-year career as a nurse and teacher. She was acknowledged with an Outstanding Service to Nursing Award & was Chairperson for the College of LPN's for many years.

Mom was honoured & proud to care for her Dad, her Mom & her husband in their homes in their final days of life with dignity and we were profoundly grateful.

Her love for her family was fierce. We can only take comfort that there were so many family & friends to receive her on the other side.

Robyn leaves behind a huge void in our hearts for her daughter Amber and son Adam (Jess). Bonus children, Dale (Jen,) Tammy (Keith), and Sherry (Derrin). Grandchildren; Dannica, Nova, Hattie, Craig (Alex), Brendan, Alyssa (Ryan), Brittni, Tanisha, Dylan (Rachelle) and Kurtis.

Great grandchildren; Abel, Tucker, Hailey, Myles, Peyton, Jacob, Alexis, Abbi, Zak, Vicki, Ellie and Evie.

Sisters Dawn and Debbie & many cousins, nieces & nephews.

Robyn's Celebration of Life will be held on October 28 at the Fish & Game Club, Courtenay at 2 p.m.

Please come with your memories & stories to truly celebrate Robyn & the impact she made on countless lives.
