We sadly announce the unexpected passing on Thursday, June 5, 2014 in Comox, BC of a loving husband, Dad and Poppa. Roger was born in Chatham, Kent in England and moved to Calgary, Alberta with his family in 1980. After 31 years he moved to Comox, BC with Margaret so they could enjoy their retirement by the sea where he spent 3 happy years especially as he didn’t have to shovel any snow!
He leaves behind his loving wife Margaret of 51 years, his three daughters, Caroline Mann (Tim), Alison Aberle (Dennis), Helen Smith (Dave) and nine much loved grandchildren; Nicole, Leah, Jacob, Adam, Sarah, Evan, Matthew, Davina and Jackson. He thought the world of all of them.
Private family arrangements. A gathering of family and friends will be held in Calgary at a later date.
