Our dearest friend passed away peacefully Monday, August 6th. Ruth loved the outdoors and all of God’s little and big creatures. Her quick wit, matter of fact stand in life, interest in nature and compassionate heart will be missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing Ruth. She was a “one-of-a-kind” lady.
Ruth had an amazing full life which led her to many continents of the world where she dedicated her gifts of nursing and speech pathology.
She leaves behind her only sibling, Peter Griffith (and wife Marlene) of New York City.
A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held August 15th from 2-4pm at 1564 Hurford St., Courtenay
A big thank you to all who have cared for Ruth over the last 15 years. Your care, love and support gave her quality, dignity and desire.
