Sharon Murphy Cork was born in Alert Bay BC May 30, 1944 and died in Courtenay BC March 29, 2022.
Sharon is survived by her sons Mike and Joe; granddaughter Alyshia; great granddaughter Sophia; Keith Olson, Sharon's partner of 33 years and his daughter Connie and son Ron and their families. Sharon is missed by her siblings Bill Murphy (Linda), Mike Murphy (Marnie) Patricia Hurst and their respective families.
Sharon and Keith spent many happy years camping and fishing on the north end of the island and off the west coast. They caught and canned enough fish to feed 6 families all winter. Sharon and Keith both worked for Kal Tire and when they retired, they became snowbirds. They first tried fifth wheeling to the southern states but soon opted for the warmth of Mexico flying south every winter for the next 17 years.
Sharon was a very giving person to family, friends and strangers alike. She will be missed and remembered always by her family.
