MOLE, Sophie

Sophie Mole of Fanny Bay, at the age of 68 lost her battle with breast cancer on March 16th, 2011 with her family at her side.
She leaves behind her children Diane (Victor) Noll of Black Creek, BC. Bryan Knorr of Sherwood Park AB, and Darcy (Cathy) Knorr of Sherwood Park AB. Grandchildren Rhett & Luke Knorr and Kyle & Walker Noll. Also survived by her husband Doug Mole, brother Neil Bonk of Beaverlodge AB, and sister Olga (Ralph) Dorland of Ingersoll, ON. Nephews Mark (Susan) dorland, Wade Dorland and Randy Obniawka. She was predeceased by parents Mike and Mary Bonk, sister Natalie Obniawka and nephew Wayne Obniawka. Sophie was born and raised in Goodfare AB, moved to Edmonton in 1962 and later ventured to Fanny Bay in 1994. She was truly loved and deeply missed by all.

A Celebration of her Life will take place at Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation & Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay, on Wednesday March 23, 2011 at 2:00 pm.
