Thelma was 91 years young at her passing. She will always be remembered for her kind generosity and beautiful smile. Thelma's door was always open to share a cup of tea. She had a way of making you feel right at home but if you weren't careful she would skunk you at a game of crib!
Not only were you welcomed by her but by her beloved dogs who she loved to spoil.
Thelma was predeceased by her husband, Orville, her sons Orvie, Rick and daughter Heather. She is survived by daughter Kathy (Danny), son in law Marcel, 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
Thelma had many jobs throughout her life but she was most proud of her days in the North Island as the Kokish Fire Chief. She later moved to Merville with her husband, Orville and son, Rick. She eventually settled in Courtenay where she had many friends and family to share many meals and stories with.
Thelma lived her life with kindness and her sweet chuckle will be missed by all those who had the pleasure to know her.
